MCERTS – an Introduction
MCERTS
is the Environment Agency’s Monitoring Certification Scheme. The
scheme provides a framework within which environmental measurements can
be made in accordance with the Agency’s quality requirements. The
scheme covers a range of monitoring , sampling and inspection activities.
The MCERT scheme has two elements
- Certification of personnel – to ensure that operators are competent
- Accreditation of the organisation – this relates to UKAS
In conjunction with UKAS Accreditation, Cirrus Environmental Solutions
Ltd hold MCERT Accreditation. In addition, emission monitoring staff are
qualified to MCERT Level 2 with all four currently available Technical
Endorsements.
Choosing our organisation removes the uncertainty over the level of service
that you delivered, and this is a significant factor in reducing your
business risks.
